Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about accounts, tickets, verification, company accounts and tests. Anything else: call (780) 417-3777 or email admin@atsafetytraining.ca.

How do I create an account?

Click Log in at the top of any page, then Create new account. You need an email address you can check; the confirmation link arrives within a minute. One account holds all your courses and certificates.

How long is my certificate valid?

Most AT Safety certificates are valid for three years; a few programs (such as APR respirator training) are two years, and Common Safety Orientation and Fire Watch do not expire. The expiry date is printed on the certificate and we email you before it runs out.

How does an employer verify my ticket?

Every certificate carries a QR code and a unique code. Scanning the QR, or entering the code on our verification page, shows the holder’s name, the course, the issue date, the expiry date and whether it is still valid. No account is needed.

Where do I find my certificates?

Log in and open My certificates from your name at the top right, or from the My training links on your dashboard. Each one can be downloaded as a PDF or shared by link.

Can I take an online course on my phone?

Yes. Courses run in any modern browser and in the free Moodle app for iOS and Android. Your progress is saved, so you can start on a laptop and finish on a phone.

Do you train groups at our worksite?

Yes. Most classroom courses can be delivered at your site anywhere in Alberta for groups of six or more. Call (780) 417-3777 or email admin@atsafetytraining.ca to book.

How do company accounts work?

Your safety coordinator gets a login that shows every worker’s courses, certificates and expiry dates, plus scheduled reports by email. Workers are added in bulk from a spreadsheet, and new hires can be enrolled in a standard set of courses automatically.

What if I fail the final test?

You have three attempts at every online final test, and the best score counts. If you need more, contact us and an instructor can review the material with you and reset the attempt.
